The LabTrac Server

The LabTrac Server turns an ordinary desktop computer into a powerful, self-contained web server and database. Simply install and run the software on a computer and you will be remotely interacting with student data in seconds via the web.

The server may operate on a Windows or Macintosh computer. See FAQ04-0001 for installation information or consult the User Guide.

The LabTrac Client Module

The LabTrac Client Module interacts with the LabTrac server to track student visit data. The Client Module locks a computer from use until a student enters an ID and is logged into the computer. The computer is then unlocked for the student to use. The Client Module communicates visit data such as Center, Subject, & Visit Reason to the server for tracking and reporting purposes.

The Client Module is only available for Windows systems. The Client is installed on each computer in the lab to lock it from use until a student logs in. For more installation instructions see FAQ04-0002 or consult the User Guide.
